The new GSH branding builds on the success and recent growth in this area, while retaining ABC Languages’ focus on the provision of quality, tailor-made English courses and accommodation to visiting groups from overseas.
Director of ABC Languages, Ben Whittaker, said of the recent changes: “Group Study Holidays isn’t new; we’ve been welcoming groups to our school in Cambridge for years, and now we’ve decided to launch a dedicated GSH website and step-by-step video to put all the important details and key selling points in one place.
"We know that the welfare of students is an important consideration for all involved – agents, parents, students, especially juniors – and we hope that our new GSH brand shows how we incorporate this into every aspect of our programmes.”
Established in Cambridge by Lesley Whittaker almost 30 years ago, ABC Languages is and always has been more than just another language school. The company’s activities cover the full spectrum of language services, from general, specialist, and academic English and foreign language training for individuals and corporations, to a successful International Summer School for juniors and families, and the provision of study holidays to closed-groups.
In recent years the demand for group study holidays has been huge, in particular from groups of high school students from overseas looking for short stays in Cambridge, and the family business has responded by creating a distinct GSH product which reflects the same high standards of welfare, teaching, and service applied throughout ABC Languages’ programmes.
