Life-affirming or life-depleting activities? How do you spend your time?

Is your time more spent on life-affirming or life-depleting activities? asks Cambridge coach, Chris Carling in the latest issue of her personal growth e-newsletter, Present Perfect.

Life-affirming activities are those that boost our energy and increase our joie de vivre. In contrast, life-depleting activities drain our energy and lower our spirits. To feel truly alive, our life-affirming activities need to exceed life-depleting ones. How is the balance for you?

Other stories this month include 'Me-Stories' – how we create stories about ourselves and our likes and dislikes that keep us stuck repeating habitual patterns of emotion and behaviour. Also, are you a hoarder? Do you know the difference between keeping and hoarding? Read Present Perfect to find out.

Chris Carling has also written two ebooks: 'A Useful Guide to Overcoming Anxiety' and 'A Useful Guide to Work Life Balance'. Both available from Pansophix (http://www. pansophix.co.uk). Click on 'Useful Guides'.
