Cambridge Judge Business School Executive Education has completed the rigorous BIA assessment, which covers the organisation's social and environmental performance, governance structure and our impact on our stakeholders and supply chain. By committing to becoming a B Corp, we are proud to formalise our commitment to using business as a force for good, prioritising purpose as well as profit, which will enable us to contribute to the University of Cambridges’ mission and impact the world for good.
The evening will start with opening remarks from Gishan Dissanaike, Interim Dean, Cambridge Judge Business School, followed by a brief overview of "What B Corp means for Cambridge Judge Business School Executive Education. We will then hear from Professor Christopher Marquis, Author of the book Better Business: How the B Corp movement is Remaking Capitalism, as he shares his thoughts about the B Corp movement and how it is positively affecting our business landscape.
We will also be joined by Katie Hill, Co-Chair of the Board of B Lab Global, who will build on Professor Marquis’ remarks and discuss the global movement for a more sustainable version of capitalism, and then have a question-and-answer session. Finally, Matthew Walkley, Head of B2B Marketing will join Chris and Katie for a short discussion on what this certification means for JBSEEL.
Attendees will gain valuable perspectives on how to integrate purpose-driven strategies into their organisations, inspiring them to explore B Corp certification and join the growing community of businesses dedicated to creating a more inclusive and sustainable world.
