Climate Action 2021: Responsible Consumption and Production

In this quarter we will take on SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production.

Climate Action 2021 is a series of conversations celebrating the work of cleantech innovators in solving the UN Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which we will promote and highlight in the run up to COP 26 in Glasgow in November.

In this quarter we will take on SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production.

Carbon offsetting is a step in the right direction, but carbon reduction is a much needed jump towards a more sustainable lifestyle. Despite the Paris agreement and recent new regulations set by Governments, the world continues to unsustainably use natural resources. With a global material footprint jumping from 73 to almost 86 Billion tons from 2010 to 2017, we need to create and implement extremely effective solutions to tackle our mass consumption of goods.

With new policies around the UK and the world being implemented to accelerate the shift, let’s now have a look at the current solutions available to make changes, today.

Join our event to learn from expert speakers on the challenges and opportunities of the 12th Sustainable Development Goal: Responsible Consumption and Production. In this event you will learn from academics who will explain what is the meaning and goals of the 12th SDG, followed by a showcase of innovative solutions.

You will learn about the different innovative solutions to ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns. The event will also include a live Q&A and a networking session for you to meet the speakers
