Through a mix of speeches, panel discussions and open debate, delegates will consider this important topic and explore how we can work together to transform outcomes for young people in our region and supply the growing economy with the right talent.
There will be four main panel sessions looking at:
- Places & Spaces: What are the workplaces of the future?
- People & Talent: What’s the balance between importing talent from elsewhere and growing our own?
- Inclusive growth: What does this mean for access to opportunities, community cohesion and productivity?
- Cambridge: What unique contribution does Cambridge make to the UK economy?
Oli de Botton, Chief Executive of the Careers and Enterprise Company, is the keynote speaker.

The event is being held at AstraZeneca in their state-of-the-art, global R&D facility, The Discovery Centre (DISC), located in the heart of the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.
