This training course will look at advanced search strategies and techniques for FTO, understanding the claims and how to review third party documents. Subject-specific search techniques will be provided for biotechnology, chemistry, devices and engineering.
Attend this course to find out about:

- writing up your strategy
- storing results and search strings
- how to build in new information and re-execute an FTO search and analysis at a later date.
- best techniques for analysing the results and preparing a report for your internal or external client.
This course is aimed at those with experience of patent searching who need to improve or update their expertise in freedom to operate search and analysis. We recommend that attendees have undertaken CIIPM’s Freedom to Operate Fundamentals training or a similar FTO course.
