Attend this free Zoom webinar hosted by South Cambridgeshire District Council and Cambridge City Council to find out more about the Cambridgeshire-wide Equality Pledge.

The Equality Pledge is a simple but effective way to demonstrate support for all communities. It shows customers, staff and other businesses you work with that you operate in a non-discriminatory way, and actively recognise and value diversity and inclusivity.

The Equality Pledge is: “We believe in the dignity of all people and their right to respect and equality of opportunity. We value the strength that comes with difference and the positive contribution that diversity brings to our community. Our aspiration is for Cambridge and the wider region to be safe, welcoming and inclusive.”

At the webinar we will discuss how your business can benefit from signing up to the pledge and help identify actions you might consider as a signatory to make Cambridgeshire safer and more inclusive for all.

Organisations already signed up include Cooper Barnes Automotive, Kameo Recruitment and Cambridge United Football Club.

Further information on the Equality Pledge can be found here. If you have any questions about the Pledge or the webinar contact equality.schemes@scambs.gov.uk

Please note that this webinar is only open to businesses registered in the South Cambridgeshire and Cambridge areas. We reserve the right to cancel bookings from organisations that are not businesses.
