IP & Commercialisation part 2: Business & Markets - Jan22

This training course aims to provide a basic understanding of how to develop, commercialise and manage IP.

In part 2 of our IP & Commercialisation training, we look at the wider world of IP and external relationships. We will cover topics including contracts and confidentiality agreements, other people's IP, infringement risk and enforcement, competitors and markets, and IP valuation.

This course should appeal to those embarking on the commercialisation of IP through licensing, sale, or joint venture activities, and also those who may want to review their own procedures. The course is primarily focused on techniques applicable for managing and commercialising technologies that are patentable and considering approaches for different companies and situations. It may be relevant for those working in a wide range of roles, including Intellectual Property managers, IP Engineers, innovation managers, technology innovators and trainee patent and trademark attorneys.

This training course is delivered in two online sessions of 90 minutes, on two consecutive days.
