We are delighted to invite you to our upcoming People Summit event in Cambridge.

From October this year, employers will be faced with a new duty. If they fail to take "reasonable steps" to protect their staff from sexual harassment, they may face additional claims from employees. A failure to comply with this duty could prove costly and create reputational issues for employers, so if businesses are not already taking positive steps to prevent harassment, they should do so now.

The latest event in our People Summit series, a "Prevention of Harassment Focus Session", will be held on Thursday 18 April 2024. The session will be interactive and provide practical insights into navigating employer obligations surrounding this sensitive and increasingly complex area, helping them to understand what steps they should consider in preventing sexual harassment.

The session will provide you with:

  • An overview of applicable law and the various forms of harassment,
  • An understanding of your obligations and responsibilities in fostering appropriate workplace behaviour,
  • Practical tips and guidance to minimise personnel issues and legal risk,
  • An update regarding forthcoming changes in the area of sexual harassment.

Our popular People Summit events are aimed at HR professionals and scale-up business owners and founders who have responsibility for people strategy and building their teams.
