We are delighted to announce that the United Kingdom Science Park Association (UKSPA) will be returning to in-person events on 2 and 3 December. This will be held in the Atrium of the I-centrum building at Innovation Birmingham.
The event will start with lunch at 1.15pm and afternoon sessions will include the UKSPA AGM which will update members on the changes that are taking place and the future plans of the Association.
Thursday afternoon will also see sessions on the recently launched Birmingham Knowledge Quarter which is an alliance of eleven knowledge-led institutions
The programme for Thursday concludes with a walking tour of the Knowledge Quarter and a visit to a number of key sites.
Friday morning will see sessions that:
- Discuss changing operational delivery of services and support to occupiers
- Share good practice and consider changing expectations of occupiers
- Look at what the future holds for collaborative space
- Discuss the role of UKSPA member locations in the national innovation eco-system
- Consider the changes that are taking place in the demand pipeline
- And much more.
There will be a number of extended networking breaks over the course of the two days to allow personal connections to be renewed and introductions to be made with the many new UKSPA members who have joined since our last event in 2020.
The event will conclude mid-afternoon on Friday.
