How often do you like and comment on social media posts? What's in a like, anyways? In this talk, we'll discuss some of how and why social media plays a role in our everyday lives.

About the speaker

Tyler Shore is the ThinkLab Program Manager at the University of Cambridge, which is focusing on interdisciplinary projects that connect research with real world impact.

Tyler is a Senior Research Associate for the Intellectual Forum, Jesus College. He also researches digital/print reading, attention spans, digital distractions, and social media at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge.

Tyler has run workshops and taught social media. He previously worked at Google, as part of the Authors@Google lecture series.
