An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Department of Politics and International Studies (POLIS) for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join as the Administration and Undergraduate Assistant.

Duties will include supporting the Undergraduate Coordinator with the administration of approximately 22 POLIS papers, being the first point of contact for all related queries as well as supporting the academic staff and Director of the Undergraduate Education.

It will incorporate such tasks collating information for student handbooks, assisting with timetabling, updating Moodle sites and Department mailing lists, providing examination support and keeping up to date and accurate records. This post will also be responsible for arranging meetings and room bookings, catering, ordering office equipment and will contribute to the general smooth running of the Department. With excellent communication skills, the role-holder will deal with a wide range of people including applicants, staff, students and alumni.
