Join Our Team as a Clinical Veterinarian in Anatomic Pathology.
We would like to add to our team a colleague who has passion for delivering high quality veterinary anatomic pathology diagnostic service and teaching. We have an exciting opportunity available, as the previous role holder has advanced within our department.
You will be one of our team of veterinary anatomic pathologists delivering surgical biopsy interpretation and post mortem examination services for patients from the Queen's Veterinary School Hospital and for external stakeholders. You will be responsible, along with other academic staff, for the teaching of anatomic pathology undergraduates, and for training Clinical Training Scholars (interns and residents). This role is available immediately.
You must be a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, or hold a degree qualifying you for membership, and have experience in anatomic pathology diagnostic service. You should be a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Pathologists (ECVP) or the American College of Veterinary Pathologists (ACVP). Candidates who have completed an approved residency training programme in Anatomic Pathology and who are eligible to sit the ECVP or ACVP, and intend to do so, will also be considered. This role would suit a colleague who has enthusiasm for delivering excellent diagnostic service and teaching. We are happy to support and mentor a candidate who has recently completed their residency training and wishes to take the next step in pursuing a career in academic veterinary anatomic pathology through undertaking a Board exam.
