Clerk to Trustees
The Royal Albert Homes is an almshouse charity providing low-cost housing for elderly residents of modest means on Hills Road near Cambridge Railway Station. We are currently looking for a new Clerk to the Trustees to work closely with the trustees as a key member of the team. Candidates should be well-organized, ideally with experience of social housing and building management, to ensure the efficient running of the Homes. The Clerk organises and minutes trustee and committee meetings, manages staff and contractors, supervises the admission of new residents, places contracts for services, manages book-keeping with the support of our accountant and another member of staff. Hours: negotiable, currently 25 hours per week, spread over five mornings. Some flexibility is required to cover occasional afternoon meetings and special events.
