Endomag wins King’s Award For Enterprise In International Trade Category

Cambridge, UK - Endomag, one of the UK's fastest-growing MedTech companies, specialising in devices used for the treatment of breast cancer, has been recognised for its impressive growth in the UK and overseas with a 2024 King's Award for Enterprise.

This latest company acknowledgement for Endomag, celebrates continued excellence in expanding its international trade in recent years, and cements its position as a widely recognised international global player in the MedTech space.

Endomag’s technologies include the Magseed® marker, which is used for highly accurate removal of breast tumours, and the Magtrace® lymphatic tracer, commonly used in breast cancer staging procedures, which eliminates reliance on nuclear-based medicines.

These are both identified and removed in surgery with the use of the Sentimag® platform, the world’s only surgical system designed for both tumour localisation and staging.

The King’s Awards for Enterprise, previously known as The Queen’s Awards for Enterprise, were renamed last year to reflect His Majesty The King’s desire to continue the legacy of HM Queen Elizabeth II’s by recognising outstanding UK businesses.

We are extremely proud to win our first King’s Award, following on from our previous success with the Queen’s Awards, this time recognising our efforts for outstanding short term international growth.

Since first launching our products in the UK almost a decade ago, our team has built and established an impressive trading footprint, continuing to grow our markets across EMEA, North America and Australasia.

We’re delighted that our medical device technologies have now been able to help over 485,000 women in over 45 countries access a better standard of care. Winning this award is a huge honour, re-affirming our dedication to positively impacting the lives of individuals affected by breast cancer” - Dr. Eric Mayes, CEO at Endomag

The Award programme, now in its 58th year, is one of the most prestigious business awards in the country, with successful businesses receiving the esteemed King’s Awards Emblem for the next five years.

Operating from their UK Headquarters on the Cambridge Science Park, Endomag employs 147 staff and continues to develop world-leading technologies, harnessing the power of magnetic sensing to help empower clinicians across the world.
