Creative Places are delighted to announce that the specialist property advisor has been shortlisted for a prestigious national property award. The company is one of six finalists chosen for the Estates Gazette Specialist Advisor of the Year 2016 award, the winner of which will be announced at a gala dinner at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London in September.
Creative Places specialises in advising clients across the UK on how best to develop and invest in locations where businesses and the research base undertake research/R&D. Its clients include universities, hospitals, science and research parks and government bodies.
The business has grown from strength to strength since being established in 2008. Over the past year the team has worked on a number of diverse projects including, preparing a demand study for life sciences real estate in London for MedCity; advising on the £95 million (approx.) acquisition of the BEST Network (Business Environments for Science and Technology Network) of five science parks – the largest privately owned network of science and technology parks in the UK; completing the sale of land at Cambridge Biomedical Campus to AstraZeneca and advising Central Manchester NHS Foundation Trust on the selection of a development partner for the Oxford Road hospital campus.
