Online Marketing Specialist

This newly created position offers an opportunity for an online/digital marketeer to join a growing, collaborative, friendly and interactive team. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the successful candidate will support the efficient and effective delivery of all online content. As you will be managing multiple projects with tight deadlines, across diverse teams and business units, it is important that you are highly organized, proactive and self-motivated.

Key Responsibilities


Web marketing:

  • Maintain websites by updating content and optimizing for SEO
  • Post approved content on website and third-party sites
  • Create web forms and test integration with Zoho CRM
  • Monitor website activity using Google Analytics and other intelligence tools
  • Review website and suggest improvements for user experience
  • Work with development team to ensure efficient website performance

Social marketing:

  • Maintain social media presence for all business units, targeting audiences through YouTube, LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Post approved content across social media platforms
  • Suggest other corporate and third-party content to post and share with Cresset followers
  • Monitor analytics and use this information to guide future content to improve engagement
  • Report KPIs


  • Implement approved webinar schedule, including setting up and hosting webinars in Zoom as relevant
  • Pre-event management of registrations
  • Support in post-event management and reporting of attendees and engagement
  • Support team with organization of conferences


Essential requirements


  • Proven experience: LinkedIn (for both organic and promotional use), Twitter, Google Analytics, web site maintenance, webinar coordination, SEO
  • Demonstrable execution of managing successful paid-for social media campaigns
  • Proficient at coordinating webinars, ideally using Zoom, or willingness to learn and run webinars as a key part of this role
  • Experience using a CRM system
  • Minimum of 2 years digital B2B marketing experience
  • Team player willing to support other team members as required




  • Experience in a computational chemistry or life sciences setting
  • CIM qualification
