Facilities and Stores Manager  

We’re looking for a Facilities and Stores Manager to take on a varied, hands-on role in our rapidly growing business. You’ll directly contribute to the business from day one, where you’ll directly contribute to the success of Cellular Origins. Your role will be essential in bringing our manufacturing and test facility into smooth operation and help ensure it works in harmony with our separate R&D facility. 

You can expect the responsibilities of the role to be:

Facilities Management:

  • Plan and oversee the maintenance and repair of building systems. 
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. 
  • Coordinate with external contractors and service providers. 
  • Manage facility budgets and negotiate contracts where appropriate. 
  • Implement and maintain security protocols. 

Stores Management: 

  • Supervise the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies. 
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels. 
  • Optimise storage space and improve inventory management processes. 
  • Coordinate with colleagues to ensure timely availability of materials 

Requirements

  • Experience in site, stores and/or facility management with a basic experience of mechanical systems. 
  • High expectations and standards, you will deliver practical results, with a bias to action and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and requests in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership of issues and driving for solutions.  
  • Able to think on your feet and implement creative but practical solutions. 
  • Comfortable with typical IT systems, ideally including some experience of ERP/MRP systems.
