Rhombus Systems produce software to help our customers run their factories more efficiently.

Our software is written in Delphi and Object Pascal and is heavily object orientated.
We are looking for a senior software engineer to maintain and develop our product to meet changing customer requirements.
Working at Rhombus Systems
You will be working in a small team with very experienced engineers who want to help you to learn and improve your skills.
You will not be bored. Our applications include single board computers collecting data in real time from sensors, multi-threaded application servers, interfaces to other systems through their APIs and databases with millions of records.
We don't have all the distractions of large company life. We simply concentrate on producing an excellent product and looking after our customers.
Hybrid working is possible, but you will have a lot to learn, so we will need you in our office in Cambridge every day for at least 6 months.
About you
The person we are looking for will have:
- A knowledge of manufacturing and what goes on in a factory.
- Excellent programming skills. If you don't have Pascal experience then you should not be fazed by learning a new language. You must be able to write reliable and readable code.
- A degree in engineering.
- The imagination to use your knowledge of manufacturing to come up with new solutions for customer problems.
- The interpersonal skills to talk with customers by telephone.
