41% YOY revenue growth, as Darktrace uniquely positioned to lead new phase in cyber security

Darktrace, a global leader in cyber security AI, announces that at the Annual General Meeting of the Company, to be held today, Gordon Hurst, Chairman of Darktrace, will make the following statement.

“The twelve-month period ended 30th June 2021 was a significant year for Darktrace. Having delivered a strong set of full-year results and successfully completed our IPO during the year, 2021 has been a pivotal point in Darktrace’s journey so far. Darktrace now has over 1,600 employees and over 5,900 customers, 86% of whom have two or more Darktrace products. I would also highlight that Darktrace AI stops ransomware on average within one second, and Darktrace Antigena stops an attack somewhere in the world every single minute.

"For FY2021 our YOY revenue grew 41% alongside a revenue CAGR of 52% from 2018 to 2021. This exceptional financial profile is further bolstered by $343m of ARR and a revenue number for the FY2021 of $281m.

"Since the full-year results, we have published a short trading update in October, which showed continuing strong sales performance in the first quarter of FY2022, with a growing customer base and strong performance across key metrics.

"It’s been a tremendous year for Darktrace and I am excited about the future for this business – we have a strong team and are uniquely positioned to continue our successful upward trajectory as we lead the way forward in cyber security and enter our next phase of strategic growth.”
