Product design and development consultancy 42 Technology (42T) has today announced a new manufacturing partnership that will enable the consultancy to offer a faster, more integrated approach to bringing new electronic products to market.
42 Technology signs Briton EMS as electronics manufacturing partner
Under the terms of the new partnership, 42T can now offer its clients full scale product manufacturing through Briton EMS, the Bedford-based contract electronics manufacturer. The picture shows part of Briton EMS’s product manufacturing facility.
The two companies are already working on several major new projects that will see both parties extend the range of services they can now provide to their respective clients.
“Briton EMS’s strengths lie in electronic manufacturing services from simple PCB assemblies to full product build and test. Although we already have a limited design capability, this new partnership with 42 Technology will enable us to offer a much broader service giving customers the satisfaction of knowing their products will be designed for manufacture, prototyped and ultimately built in production all managed through one channel,” said EMS chairman Tony Abri.
“42T is often asked by our customers to recommend an electronics manufacturing company and Briton EMS has a superb reputation. We are confident this new relationship will deliver innovative new products from design right through to production,” said Dave Wilson, 42T director.
