Marshall is launching a new business charter service to Europe and beyond from Cambridge Airport.
The new service, Marshall Executive Aviation, starts this month with a Cessna Citation Bravo executive jet and team of pilots.
Coinciding with the launch, the airport is being upgraded to include a corporate lounge and meeting facilities.
Marshall says: 'Cambridge is the fastest-growing city in the UK with an expanding base of high tech businesses.
'Executives who need to fly on business are keen to use their local airport because there are no slot restrictions to delay take off and they don't want to face the battle of congested motorways to get to London's major airports.'
Founded in 1909, the Marshall Group has a turnover of £2.5bn and over 5,700 employees. Headquartered on a 900-acre site in Cambridge, Marshall has three principal arms to the business: Aerospace and Defence; Property; and Ventures.
