Polly’s mammoth journey started on 21 May 2007 at Birmingham Airport, and on the completion of her flight on 31 July she will become the first person to have landed at all 206 airfields in the United Kingdom. In 2004 she did it again becoming the first woman to fly solo over the North Pole and the first person to land on all seven continents.
