Do you have a scientific or high tech idea that you think could be transformed into a business? Are you a manager within an existing science or technology business with ideas for internal ventures?

Cambridge University's Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning can help you turn your ideas into reali

ty and develop a route map to achieve your entrepreneurial ambitions.

The sixth Summer School for entrepreneurs is for anyone who has a science or technology idea and is serious about making it achieve its commercial potential through either creation of a new business venture or by championing it within an existing business. It is an intensive one-week course which will give you the tools, contacts and confidence. By the end of the Summer School you will have developed a business plan presentation and have a clear way forward for your idea.

From the lessons of seasoned entrepreneurs, and with the support of mentors who provide close support during the week, you will have:

  • Developed a crucial and significant network of contacts within the business community and other entrepreneurs

  • Gained an understanding of the language of business and entrepreneurship and developed and applied new business skills

  • Clarified your business idea and tested it within a high calibre and 'safe' environment

  • Gained inspiration and confidence as well as planning for the next steps.
