Enterprise Tuesday starts up on 20th October


The highly successful Enterprise Tuesday series resumes on 20th October with Prof Henning Sirringhaus, Co-Founder of Plastic Logic; Martin Jackson, VP Technology at Plastic Logic; and Bill Earner, Investment Manager at Amadeus Capital Partners Ltd providing a group panel presentation on the opportunities for entrepreneurship.

Enterprise Tuesday is a series of FREE evening lectures and networking sessions run by the Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (CfEL), part of Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, from October to February. The aim is to inspire people to pursue entrepreneurial ambitions and build basic business skills.

CfEL’s Enterprise Tuesday is a major focus on entrepreneurship for the University demonstrating the application of learning to solve problems and create businesses. It is also coordinated with the Cambridge University Entrepreneurs (CUE) business creation competitions.

The main venue for the 2009/2010 series is University of Cambridge, Department of Engineering (LT0)

However, this year,  Enterpise Tuesday attendees are also being offered the oportunity to participate in the 'Silicon Valley Comes to Cambridge' programme with a special debate: “This house believes that bailing out the banks was a waste of money.”  The debate, sponsored by BDO Stoy Hayward, is on 19th Nov 2009 at the Cambridge Union Society.

In addition, a special networking event takes place on 2nd February 2010 at Judge Business School. It is a great opportunity for attendees to discuss ideas and issues with over 20 entrepreneurs and experts.

Attendees will be able to access a range of resources and networks, including the opportunity to participate in a two-day Business Link BootCamp in Hatfield, Hertfordshire.
