Changes to the way apprenticeships are funded - including the Apprenticeship Levy - has led many businesses to consider apprenticeships, some for the first time. Could a position that has been graduate-entry be offered as a Higher Apprenticeship instead? What’s it like to bring an apprentice into your business? How do you even begin the process?

On March 7, during National Apprenticeship Week, Form the Future and Marshall AeroAcademy are running “Getting Started with Apprenticeships” at Marshall AeroAcademy training facility to give employers the chance to get the latest information. We will cover issues like the Apprenticeship Levy and changes to Standards, learn about assessments and what it’s like to bring a young person into your business. There will also be a chance to meet a range of training providers who could be your partner in the process.

Existing apprentice employers are very welcome to come and share their experience and learn from others as well.

The event runs from 8-10am with an option to stay for further networking. Email info@formthefuture.org.uk or call 01223 781 296 for more information or to book your place.

This is one of the Signpost 2 Skills events that Form the Future is delivering for the Greater Cambridge City and the GCGP LEP to increase the number of apprenticeships in the region.
