Are you changing how or where you are working next year?

It’s likely this year you’ve seen some huge changes. You may have more people working from home on a permanent basis. Perhaps you’ve lost some people along the way. Or maybe your team has grown more than you’d anticipated this year.

For once, I’m not talking about updating your devices and software (though please make sure you’re still doing those anyway ).

No, today I’m talking about the other updates you should be making in your school or business.

It’s likely this year you’ve seen some huge changes.

Whatever the change, it’s likely that you need to make some updates to your policies and procedures; especially when it comes to devices, data and your network.

For example, if people are splitting their time between home and the office, their devices will be travelling more. Have you considered what would happen if one was lost or stolen?

Possibly, you’ve moved all your files to cloud-based storage for easier access for your team? But who has access to which files?

And what’s your policy for reporting a data breach or suspected attempt at attack?

These are all things you need to consider as your business evolves. And if it’s something you’ve never considered before, it’s time to get something in place.

My team can help. We deal with this kind of thing every day. So we can think through the kind of stuff you never normally need to think about.
