Seasoned Events, part of Grays-based Crown Catering Group, has purchased the 35-bedroom hotel and been granted a long lease by the Harris family. The financial value of the sale was not disclosed.
The property transaction was led by Amanda Early, with Nigel Thompson providing corporate law expertise and Clare Barlow providing employment law advice.
Amanda Early, associate in Birketts' commercial property team, said: “The Chichester Hotel has been operated by the Harris family for two generations. We are delighted to have advised on this family business sale and conclude a successful sale.”

Birketts, the top 100 law firm based in the East of England, has advised the Harris family on the sale of the three-AA-Star Chichester Hotel and Restaurant in Wickford, Essex.
