Those promoted represent the firm’s full service offering. From the Private Client Advisory Team, family law specialist Katie Beaven (who returns from maternity leave on 1 August 2018) and agriculture law experts Sophia Key and Rachel Mc Killop-Wilkin have all been recognised. Additionally, Vicki Chilton (Head of Birketts’ Utilities Team), Steven Kay (Head of Birketts’ Housebuilders Team) and Karl Pocock (Head of Birketts’ Corporate Tax Team) represent the firm’s Commercial Property and Corporate teams respectively.
Jonathan Agar, Chief Executive Officer for Birketts (pictured), commented: “I am delighted to welcome all six new entrants to the partnership in recognition of their hard work and dedication that they have made towards our success. Their promotions are richly-deserved and reflect our full range of services on offer with Birketts. Furthermore, these promotions are indicative of our commitment to ensuring that we recognise the talent coming through at all levels within Birketts while maintaining our high standards of client care.”
Jonathan continued: “These are very exciting times to be joining the Partnership. On Monday 4 June we completed our move into Providence House in Ipswich, a very high quality office facility which has been a long, long time coming. Additionally, our 2017 / 18 financial year has now drawn to a close and it is very pleasing to be able to report another strong performance for the firm. There are some accounting adjustments still to come but we can be confident that the year has finished on a very satisfactory note as a result of a huge team effort.”
