The diversity and quality of entries in this year's awards has been higher than previous years with many of the entries showing more honest and real data about the performance of the entry. Breathing Buildings entered the New Build Project of the Year awards with Mott Macdonald for the Houghton Primary Care Centre in Tyne and Wear. The Project archieved BREEAM outstanding and has since gone on to win many awards.

The awards will be presented to the individual, team or organisation that has made the most outstanding contribution to achieving improved building performance on Tuesday 11 February 2014 at Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane.
