Cambridge Filmworks sets sail on the Cutty Sark for Royal Greenwich Tall Ships Regatta

Cambridge Filmworks is going back in time on the magnificently restored Cutty Sark with its spectacularly created band of 'digital ghosts' on show throughout the Falmouth Royal Greenwich Tall Ships Regatta taking place over the next week.

Filmworks was commissioned by the National Maritime Museum and interactive audio visual specialists Integrated Circles to create a collection of unique digital installations for the restored Cutty Sark, including holograms and a magic mirror in the captain’s cabin where the faces of historical seafarers mysteriously appear!

Filmworks director Adam Giles said: " We have collaborated with Integrated Circles in the past to produce a series of installations for Egypt's Cairo Museum and Howard Carter's House in Luxor. The Cutty Sark was a real privilege to be involved in; helping to bring its illustrious history back to life. Seeing our 'ghosts' on board is a real thrill! "
