This year’s theme is ‘IP and Information Ecosystems’.  We look at the interaction of publicly available information to understand your business ecosystem and IP portfolio building.   Our speakers from Inngot, SciBite, Shell, Delta-T Devices, Bournemouth University and Team Consulting will cover topics ranging from company structures and ownership of IP, using IP information to obtain competitive intelligence about your own industry or ecosystem, patent search, examination, and IP valuation in their talks.

This year we are holding four workshops in the morning before the main programme starts.  Join us early to find out more from Minesoft, about PatentSight’s AI approach to analytics, about PatSeer from Gridlogics, and PatSnap’s approach to IP training. Poster competition finalists will be available to talk about their work is the Exhibition area.  Confirmed exhibitors so far this year are CAS, Minesoft, PatentSight, PatSnap, Gridlogics, The IET and the UK IPO.  Exhibition spaces are also still available - contact info@ciipm.co.uk for more details.

Early bird tickets (£99 +VAT) are available until 18th June.  More information on the meeting is available on the CIIPM website together with a link to Eventbrite registration:

The Cambridge Information and Intellectual Property Meeting (CIIPM) was founded by Jane List of Extract Information and Stuart Newbold of Patent Search & Information Management in 2015. The first CIIPM meeting took place in July 2016. The CIIPM annual meeting provides an opportunity for knowledge sharing for those engaged with the commercialisation of technologies using intellectual property, and those needing information to make legal and commercial decisions. The July meeting offers lunch, an afternoon of talks and discussions, a small exhibition, and networking opportunities. CIIPM also provides half-day training courses in IP Matters, IP Commercialisation, and Patent Searching for Legal and Commercial Insights. Training days take place in October and March each year at Homerton College Conference Centre in Cambridge.
