PHG Foundation’s conference ‘Healthy futures: genomics and beyond’ on 28 November 2017 at Clare College will bring together delegates from diverse sectors to explore the possible shape of our healthy futures and the path to get us there.

The Chief Scientific Officer, whose role is to ensure science remains at the heart of the NHS, will speak on the progress towards personalised medicine in England. A keynote will also be given from Dr Robert C Green, Director of Genomes2People, on personalised genomic medicine.

A must for all those who want to explore how we could all benefit from the next frontiers of modern medicine, the conference will also include VIP speaker Prof Dame Sally Davies, England’s Chief Medical Officer, who this month released her annual report Generation Genome, calling for genomics to be integrated into modern healthcare.

The full day conference will have parallel debates on pertinent policy and people issues for health innovations and a series of quick-fire talks on the ‘transformational technologies for health’.
