The salon in Thornton Way handed out glasses of bubbly and nibbles, offered eyebrow mapping and various facial treatments in exchange for a donation to EACH, and ran a raffle featuring an array of glamorous prizes.
Plum Tree Hair & Beauty started trading in May this year. The business is run by Sally Hayden and her two daughters, Amy and Lucy.
The former recently starred in Linton Panto’s production of Dick Whittington, that also benefited EACH. She is known for running AllDance classes at Histon & Impington Recreation Ground pavilion.
“We were delighted to raise over £100 for such an inspiring and incredible charity. We’d like to thank everyone who came along, shared a glass of Prosecco with us and donated to EACH.”
EACH cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across East Anglia and supports their families. For more information go to www.each.org.uk.
