This training is for people who are engaged with the patent searching needed to build, maintain and defend a patent portfolio. The course will cover how to construct effective search strategies for patentability, opposition, and invalidity/validity searches. It will look at using classification, citation, name, semantic and other search tools, how to filter and how to analyse your results for reporting.
There will be Q&A opportunities to help make the sessions as interactive as possible in the virtual setting. This training course is suitable for those who have taken the CIIPM Core Patent Search Skills course, and / or have some experience of patent searching.
The Prosecution & Legal Patent Searching online course will take place over two 1.5 hour sessions, starting at 2.00 p.m. BST (14:00 UK Time), on 16-17 June.
