The shortlist has listed us as “a growing team of communications experts based in Cambridge with a strong reputation for co-creating impactful communications programmes with clients locally, nationally and globally. Its work has stimulated UK-China trade, women’s enterprise and growth opportunities for startups”.
The Business Weekly Awards recognises the contributions made by the inspiring and innovative businesses from a diverse and wide-reaching field.
The list of 32 companies once again reads like a Who’s Who of elite businesses, including Avacta, Camena Bioscience, Cellular Highways, CMR Surgical, Crayfish.io, ET-traps Ltd, Evonetix, Frontier Developments, Flusso Ltd, Geospock, Glyconics, Healx, Herdsy, Kameo Recruitment, Luminance, Microbiotica, Mogrify, o2h Ventures, OKRA Technologies, Outfield, Owlstone Medical, PBD Biotech, PervasID, PhoreMost, PragmatIC, Redgate Software, RoboK, SATAVIA, Secure Thingz Ltd, Swiss Laundry, UltraSOC as well as Cofinitive. Over half of these companies have also appeared on Cofinitive's #21toWatch
Cofinitive also recently featured as the fastest riser in the Business Weekly’s New Year’s Honours Image Makers list, up from 5th to 2nd position.
Cofinitive founder, Faye Holland said: “This was genuinely a huge surprise to the team. As a PR and communications company, it is our job to raise the profile of our clients and companies like the ones on this shortlist, so to have been nominated in our own right, alongside them, is incredible.
“As well as the ‘day-job’ each member of the team has a pro-bono project to work on which we are hugely proud of as it allows us to support the ecosystem in a much broader way and reflects our core values – something that in the current unprecedented health and wellbeing situation we find ourselves in, is increasingly important. I believe it is the dedication to the whole, that has allowed us to earn this level of reputation in such a short amount of time, and we are hugely grateful for the support of Business Weekly in recognising us.”
The prestigious Business Weekly Awards are being held at Queens’ College, Cambridge on Wednesday, March 25, 2020.
