Conscious Communications gives time and toys in support of charity Toy Appeal

Conscious Communications, the Cambridge-based public relations and marketing agency, is working pro-bono to raise awareness for Star Radio’s Christmas Toy Appeal, which is being staged with the help of the Liam Fairhurst Foundation and Purple Skips in the run-up to Christmas 2014.

The Toy Appeal, launched on 26th November, aims to bring some Christmas cheer, in the form of new gifts, to children in the region who need it most.  The Conscious Communications team will be raising the profile of the Appeal while helping to securing gift donations from companies and individuals across East Anglia, including the St John’s Innovation Centre where the team are based. To make it easier for organisations based at the Centre, Conscious Communications is hosting a drop off location in its office where those wishing to contribute can leave their toys.

Supporting local charitable causes is a fundamental part of the Conscious Communications team’s work and Alison Taylor, Managing Director of Conscious Communications said:  “Our team is very proud to be able to help this wonderful local charity.  Callum Fairhurst is an extraordinary young man who has taken on his brother’s legacy and made many sacrifices to raise much needed funds for projects that will benefit children and their families.  Bringing a little bit of happiness to children who are unable to be at home for Christmas, is what the season is all about and we hope that through the generosity of others our gift donation points will be overflowing in the next few weeks.”
