Many Learning Collaboration courses have been CPD accredited for some time (see list below), but the coronavirus crisis has prompted careful adaptation of face-to-face training to virtual formats. The CPD Standards Office has now verified that all those courses, now delivered online, still qualify for CPD points.
Sarah Gleadell, head of the Learning Collaboration, says: “Lockdown and increased home working have given many people the opportunity to invest time in improving their skills and knowledge through remote training sessions.
“We have worked closely with our large pool of talented trainers over the past few weeks to adapt our wide range of open and in-house courses for online delivery, maintaining the high quality we have always provided.
“Participants in some of these recent online courses have given us hugely positive feedback, which is proof that our high standards are being sustained. One delegate felt that online and classroom training were on a par, while others thought it was better – generally less stressful and easier to get to, with smaller class sizes and personal attention. Certainly, remote training is better for the planet too, as there is no travel involved!”
