Creative technologist looks into the future

Guests at the Annual Dinner hosted by Cambridge Marketing College will hear a vision of the future from Gregory Roekens, the Chief Technology Officer of Abbot Mead Vickers BBDO, the largest advertising agency in the UK.

Mr Roekens will speak at the Great Hall of St John’s College on 9th July and all are welcome to book a ticket.

Mr Roekens, who was recently named one of the top five creative technologists to watch, is an expert in technologies that assist human beings. He is particularly interested in innovations in the fields of artificial intelligence and user interfaces which will ultimately create 'true' virtual Personal Assistants.

With advertising such as the Sainsbury’s Christmas campaign under his belt, as well work for Microsoft, Ford and Pepsi, guests at the dinner can expect some insights into familiar brands as well as some futuristic thinking.

Charles Nixon, Master of Cambridge Marketing College said: “We are delighted to have secured Gregory for this year’s Dinner. We are confident it will be splendid affair and look forward to welcoming friends old and new.”
