credit360 was honoured last month with the award for Best Sustainability Software at the 3rd Annual Ethical Corporation Awards in London. The award was announced at a dinner for over 180 of the world’s leading sustainability experts.
In announcing their decision, the panel of judges praised “the versatility and widespread use of credit360’s software, which is used by a number of leading brands on a variety of sustainability issues from reporting to supply chain management”. In the judges’ opinion, “credit360 demonstrated an early leadership position and continuing evolution in serving both customers and society and the environment and so is a deserved winner”.
Over 100 companies including Barclays, Staples, Westpac, McDonald’s, Mattel and Deutsche Telekom now use credit360 to manage and communicate their sustainability data – from environmental and social metrics to H&S incidents and compliance management.
“credit360 has been creating and implementing sustainability software for ten years. It’s this heritage and working with ambitious and engaged companies that drives us forward, and we’re genuinely delighted to have our efforts recognised through this award” noted Mark Shields, Managing Director, credit360.
credit360’s work with leading companies includes providing the data management system used by Philips to continually improve the breadth and accuracy of their reporting on global impacts, and the system was key in Philips achieving a ‘reasonable’ assurance ranking for their latest annual sustainability report. Danske Bank use credit360’s CDP accredited Energy & Carbon solution to automatically gather data from hundreds of electricity meters at 15-minute intervals.
From dealing with the day to day challenge of managing EHS data to finding innovative ways of delivering the sustainability agendas of some of the world’s largest companies, the core of credit360’s success is always its strong partnerships with clients. The firm is known for its highly responsive, client-centric approach to development that enables credit360 to deliver software designed to directly solve real world problems.
The award is a singular honour in the often confusing marketplace for sustainability software. In recent years a number of large generalist software brands and heavily funded start-ups have attempted to enter the sustainability field, but this year’s award evaluation demonstratesthat credit360’s heritage and specialisation continues to lead the pack.
The Responsible Business Awards are convened by Ethical Corporation, the leading industry magazine for corporate sustainability. An independent judging panel reviewed over 250 entries for 13 categories, making the awards programme a significant industry benchmark for responsible business.
