Companies will travel to Split for a briefing from the British Embassy team, presentations from the Enterprise Europe Network, business meetings and a day at the SASO International trade fair inSplit, Croatia.
SASO 2011 attracted 50,000 visitors, 2000 exhibitors, 250 journalists and business delegations from 36 countries. It is one of the most respected trade fairs in the Mediterranean region.
Now in its 17th year, the trade show is a multi – sector event which draws a high number of regional and international decision makers from businesses large and small.
This is the first of the “Export Insight” series of visits to markets suitable for new and novice exporters. The goal of the 3-day mission is to show UKcompanies just how easy it is to visit and do business in an overseas market.

- Pre – arranged business meetings organised by Enterprise Europe Network
- Expert advice and preparation from a UKTI International Trade Adviser and the EEN
Croatia receives over 10 million visitors a year but this market is much more than a holiday destination. Total Croatian – EU trade is worth €15 billion and hundreds of UKcompanies are already doing business in Croatia.
These visits are aimed at new and novice exporters able to take advantage of the opportunities international trade offers. A fee is payable and eligibility will be assessed by a UKTI International Trade advisor.
