District Councils open Additional Restrictions Support Grant schemes

The six District Councils across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough are now accepting applications for their respective Additional Restrictions Support Grant schemes.

Resource has been made available from Central Government for District Councils across the region to help those businesses which are not eligible for the Local Restriction Support Grant but are still severely impacted by the second national restrictions.

The scheme is a one off payment to support over this lockdown period.

To be eligible your business must be either;

  • Forced to close due to the national restrictions - but not eligible under the Local Restriction Support Grant (LRSG); or
  • Allowed to remain open, but significantly impacted by the restrictions due to being a principal supplier into businesses which have been forced to close.

If you are eligible you may be entitled to a grant of up to £3,000 based on the criteria which the government has set for the Local Restrictions Support Grant.

Further criteria include:

  • You cannot also be claiming support through either LRSG or Self-Employed Income Support Scheme (SEISS)
  • Your business must have been open and trading prior to lockdown on 4th November
  • Your business must be based in the relevant district
  • Home-based businesses and mobile businesses are eligible but you must be able to demonstrate they are based within the relevant district.

How to apply

You can apply via your district council’s website using the links below.

Due to high demand and limited funding, it will not be possible to fund all applications and therefore the CPCA nor your District Council cannot guarantee any application made will be successful.
