Cambridge-based DW & Associates (DWA) is introducing a "flat fee" recruitment service for companies across the region and in London. This new division within the firm is called People Logic (www.people-logic.co.uk)
The service incorporates all of the processes that traditional recruitment has, namely advertising the vacancy across various internet job sites, filtering CVs, discussing the vacancy with candidates, and forwarding relevant CVs to the hiring client. The only difference is that clients make contact with whichever candidate they want to interview directly.
The concept is not a new one, although DWA have much more of a personal focus than others. David Wood, owner of DWA, insists that forming a partnerhip with clients is extremely important. He comments "Getting to know our clients, what they do, what their objectives are, and understanding their company culture are all key pieces of information that translate into finding the right candidates with the right fit."
The goal with People Logic is to deliver relevant candidates within 7 days of taking on the assigment. Mr Wood also comments "It is important to us that our clients receive value for money. If we provide high calibre candidates that our clients recruit, then they will return to us for more business. This is the kind of relationship we want to establish with every client where everyone wins."
The firm currently is focusing this service on SME's in Cambridgeshire, East Anglia and London.
