The Cambridgeshire Colour Dash will be held on Saturday 13th August within the beautiful grounds of King’s Ely. The event will see participants race around the 5km course as they are showered with clouds of coloured powder – creating truly impressive multi-coloured results!.
King’s Ely Head Groundsman, Will Temple, has already been busy planning out the route – taking an early look at where it’s all happening. EACH supporters are all busy planning the day where Paint Pirates at four colour stations along the route throw paint powder at participants.
Peter Law, EACH Cambridgeshire Community Fundraiser, said: “Tickets for our Colour Dash are selling fast! It promises to be a fun filled day, with Star Radio comparing the event and lots going on for people to get involved with. You can run, walk or just dawdle chatting to a friend as you complete the colour dash – then take part in a colour party at the end when participants throw a cloud of paint into the air.
“Book up quickly to avoid disappointment! All the money raised will go towards the vital services EACH provides caring for children and young people with life-threatening conditions and supporting their families. So you’ll not only have a great time but you’ll be supporting local families as well.”
