The charity has acquired the former Lloyds bank premises at 41 High Street, to be unveiled on Thursday, 13 April.

It will offer the same range of high-quality goods customers of EACH’s 22 other shops across the region are used to, helping to fund the care and support of children and young people with life-threatening conditions and their families.

To ensure its latest shop is a success EACH is eager to find volunteers of all ages and backgrounds, and is hosting open days on Tuesday, 4th and Wednesday, 5th April from 10am to 2pm.

Sarah Throssell, EACH Retail Area Manager, said: “Volunteers are crucial to the success of our shops. We try to keep the number of paid staff to a minimum in order to raise as much money as possible for the charity.

“Volunteering is a two-way process because whilst as an organisation we gain from the gift of someone’s time, that person can make friends and learn new skills as well.

“Our retail teams always offer a warm atmosphere and they’re great fun to be a part of, so if you’d like to do something worthwhile with your spare hours please get in touch!”

In the past financial year EACH shops generated an impressive profit of more than £700,000, which all goes towards helping local families make the most of their precious time together.
