From Saturday 18 – Sunday 26 March, National Lottery ticket or scratchcard holders can enjoy exclusive offers at Lottery-funded venues and attractions for a low-cost and unique day out. IWM Duxford is proud to be amongst the sites participating in this year’s Open Week, where visitors can see historic aircraft take to the skies from the airfield where Spitfires first flew, get up close to gigantic aircraft at Europe’s largest air museum and uncover hundreds of personal stories from the First World War right up to periods of contemporary conflict.
To commemorate National Lottery Open Week, IWM Duxford is offering visitors a special promotion of two standard tickets for the price of one. This offer can only be redeemed in person by purchasing two tickets on arrival and presenting any valid National Lottery ticket, scratchcard or proof of purchase.
Darren Henley OBE, Chief Executive of Arts Council England and Chair of the National Lottery Forum said: “The National Lottery Open Week offers players a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a low-cost day out at venues across the UK – from castles to nature reserves, museums to sports venues. It’s our way of saying thank you to National Lottery players who raise an incredible £30million each week for Good Causes. That funding makes a huge difference to venues and projects across the arts, sports, community and heritage sectors, funding many iconic venues, historical landmarks and other amazing days out across the UK.”
