In the family way at Mills & Reeve

National law firm Mills & Reeve has been expanding its family and matrimonial team across the firm, despite the tough economic climate that has forced many other firms to reduce numbers in this practice area.

Mills & Reeve has taken on two new solicitors in the past month; Amy Starnes has joined the Cambridge office from Bristol firm Ashfords LLP and newly qualified solicitor, Jane Booth, has been recruited from Laytons Solicitors LLP for the firm’s expanding Leeds office.

Following their merger with Manchester law firm George Davies in June, the family team has also added partner Robin Charrot, solicitor Rebecca Nolan and associate Kim Aucott to its ranks.

The Cambridge family team also celebrated associate Hannah Wilson's 10 years as a qualified solicitor in September.

Nick Stone, head of the family and matrimonial team said: “An expanding family team is unusual in this economic climate but as the legal directories confirm, we are top tier for family law so we must continue to invest in this area to support our clients in the best possible way.” _________________________________________________
