Fast access ski injury clinic is in high demand at Nuffield Health Cambridge Hospital

Having been grounded for so long, East of England skiers are gaining rapid access to expert assessments and treatments as they hit the slopes. 

The new dedicated service provides fast access to medical experts for skiers and snowboarders at every level, from amateurs to top professionals, it combines assessment, treatment and recovery programmes.

Following assessment, the clinic offers diagnostic imaging including X-ray and MRI, together with post-injury and post-surgery rehabilitation.

Did you know? Knee ligament injuries caused when falling at force are commonest in skiers, and for snow boarders it's the arms, reaching out to protect themselves during a skid or fall.
