The event is open to all FE/HE students that are 17+, as well as those that have graduated from those institutions but have not yet found a job in the games industry. It is also open to students from non-game courses, such as computer science, animation, sound/music, writing, film etc, as long as they have a desire for a job in games. The day will include the following:
- Industry Talks & Roundtable Discussions
- 1:1 Portfolio Reviews
- Industry Recruitment Booths
- Showcase of Student Work
The event will culminate in an awards ceremony where the best and most exciting games-related work will be recognised by our games industry sponsors, with over £5,000 of prize money to be awarded to individual and team entries.
This year, the event will be held at Anglia Ruskin University, where we are supported by our partners Game Anglia and our sponsors which include Frontier Developments and Jagex.
Currently representatives from ten games companies are confirmed to attend, including TT Games, Soul Assembly, and Microsoft to name a few. We aim to have the full list published on our website soon.
