This year, we will be hosted once more by our wonderful friends at Frontier, and generously supported for the first time by SKC Games Studio!
As is tradition, the winning team from the 2022 quiz have stepped up to the plate to set the questions this year - many thanks to the Frontier Bee Team.
Due to the ongoing uncertainty that many people feel about attending public events, we are once again restricting attendance so that the canteen does not get overcrowded.
Will someone ever stop Frontier's epic winning streak? Let's get a new name on the trophy! Join the challenge, and we'll see you on Thursday the 7th December 2023.
This year we are in-person only!
Unless there is any wild objection (please email admin@gameseden.net), we will just be running the quiz as an in-person event this year.
Friends and partners are welcome, but please no children under 18.
There will also be prizes (exact details TBC!), and of course, the winning team will be awarded and have their names engraved on the fabled Games Eden Quiz Trophy!
Event Schedule
- Doors at 6.30pm for food and socialising
- Quiz starts at 7.15pm
- We hope not to finish too late - aiming for around 10pm
Non-Frontier guests are welcome to use the company's car park during the event without registering their vehicle, but are not permitted to leave their vehicles behind overnight.
Quiz team information
- If you're attending the studio, it is imperative that you make sure everyone in your team is registered by name!
- Maximum of 5 players per team
There is an entry fee of -£5- per person, which will be collected on the door and donated to Special Effect - please bring cash (preferably the correct change)!
Frontier are very kindly sponsoring food and drink, so your £5 entry guarantees you refreshments for the evening.
Please note that entry fees will be operated on a CASH ONLY basis, so plan accordingly as there are no cash points very nearby.
We do hate to be grouchy, but if you aren't registered, you can't come in to the studio! This is to ensure accurate numbers for catering so that everybody gets a good meal, but also security need advance notice of who will be attending to prep passes. To this end, registration will close on Wednesday 6th December at 5pm.
Lastly, a reminder...
Our dear friend Covid is once again doing the rounds, and we of course want everybody to be well for Christmas.
Please do not attend the event if you feel unwell, or have recently been in close contact with somebody who has tested positive. We collect entry fees on the door, so you will not be left out of pocket by staying home.
Additionally:
With the continued high cost of living and extortionate energy/fuel prices, many people are struggling more and more, and making choices they shouldn't have to such as between eating or heating. If you are able, please consider making a donation to Cambridge City Foodbank - details can be found on their website below:
